Longtime entrepreneur and sales professional tapped for real estate brokerage franchise business development team
IRVINE, CA (Sept. 7, 2017) – HSF Affiliates LLC, which operates the real estate brokerage franchise networks Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, Real Living Real Estate and Prudential Real Estate announced today the appointment of Troy Reierson as franchise sales director, overseeing the organization’s commitment to the strategic expansion of its brokerage networks. He previously served as vice president, sales and business development, at Graphic Language Inc., a company that creates high-end websites for the new construction industry.Reierson has almost two decades of experience in sales; he has owned and operated various small businesses and held positions in corporations spanning several industries—from online marketing to race-car driving. In 2002, he moved from North Carolina, where he worked for Roush Racing (NASCAR), to California for a position in the mortgage industry. After helping to start and operate a mortgage company, Reierson took a position with Zillow Group, where he influenced change and rapid growth in their new construction media division. Atlanta-based real estate veteran tapped for brokerage franchisor’s newly established position overseeing diversity initiatives and practices

Palacios Smith will oversee the franchisor’s commitment to increase diversity among its brokerage networks helping them mirror the diversity of the communities they serve. She comes to her position from Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Georgia Properties, where she was vice president of Business Development.Palacios Smith has more than 20 years of experience in the real estate industry, receiving multiple industry awards and leading several minority-focused economic organizations. In 2014, she was ranked nationally as one of the top Latina real estate agents by the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) based on its “Top 250” list, and was featured in Allan Dalton’s book Creating Real Estate Connections for her work with minorities. She was also named by Atlanta Tribune Magazine as one of Atlanta’s Superwomen for her leadership and advocacy in the Hispanic community. In 2015, Palacios Smith served as president of NAHREP, where she led national efforts to promote sustainable Hispanic homeownership. She also served as chairwoman of the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and was recognized by that organization as a Member of the Year. HSF Affiliates LLC has teamed up with San Jose, CA-based World Class Coaches and its Moving Families Initiative® to help ensure children receive proper support when their families relocate. World Class Coaches facilitates the Moving Families Initiative, an international plan focused on serving, protecting and meeting the needs of families relocating with children ages 19 and younger. HSF Affiliates, through its Home ConnectionsSM real estate services platform, will provide parents a one-stop access point for the plan’s legion of service providers, programs and services. In addition, agents from HSF Affiliates’ brokerage networks will join more than 3,100 other real estate professionals already serving transitioning families coast to coast in conjunction with Moving Families Initiative.
